People heading for Los Angeles International Airport during overnight hours tonight and tomorrow night may want to budget some extra time due to construction work that will close a stretch of northbound Sepulveda Boulevard.
According to Los Angeles World Airports, northbound Sepulveda will be closed from Imperial Highway through the Sepulveda tunnel from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. The northbound San Diego (405) Freeway exit to the westbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway will also be closed, along with the northbound Sepulveda Boulevard exit from the westbound 105. Depending on the construction work, the closures could be repeated on Wednesday night as well, officials said.
The closures are planned to accommodate Caltrans work on a damaged culvert in the area.
Southbound Sepulveda will remain open during the work.
