The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose a half-cent today to $2.785 after dropping one-tenth of a cent for four consecutive days.
The average price is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago and 38.9 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. However, the average price is 8.9 cents more than one month ago.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent today to $2.759, one day after rising two-tenths of a cent.
The Orange County average price has dropped seven of the past nine days and is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 33.8 cents lower than one year ago. However, it is 7.8 cents higher than one month ago.
