1st Wellness Summit at American Jewish University on April 18

The students of the American Jewish University (AJU) will host the first multi-dimensional Wellness Summit about methods to achieve a well-balanced lifestyle. The event will kick off in the Gindi Auditorium, 15600 Mulholland Drive in Bel Air, on Thursday April 18, 2013 with an evening program featuring speakers, a silent auction, and a specially-created Vitality Cuisine dinner.

The Summit will feature these keynote speakers:

• Hal Elrod, life coach, motivational speaker and best-selling author of The Miracle Morning;

• David Fabricius, elite leadership coach, Special Forces trainer and extreme adventurer;

• Dr. Ron Wolfson, AJU professor, community pioneer and author of God’s To-Do List;

• Rabbi Noah Farkus, social justice advocate, rabbi of Valley Beth Shalom and founder of Netiya, the faith-based network that advances urban agriculture in synagogues, schools and non-profits in Los Angeles.

A Vitality Cuisine dinner, featuring a selection of healthy food options created specially for this event, will be available at 5:00pm prior to the evening’s presentation. There will also be a raffle, silent auction, Tai Chi demonstration, massages, ion cleansing and detox therapy presentations.

Proceeds from the support will support student scholarships and to create a wellness initiative at the school to provide their community with the tools necessary to live a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle.
