This hands-on course designed to provide plans examiners and building inspectors with the knowledge and skills to more quickly and effectively enforce the 2016 Energy Code for residential projects, and to understand the 2016 building energy efficiency standards for residential new construction, additions, and alterations. Other benefits include:
-Understand the purpose of each of the residential compliance forms and related documents
-Effectively communicate energy efficiency compliance options and requirements to builders and clients
-Apply your knowledge of the standards to typical job tasks
The event is to be held at August 11, 2016, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM at Malibu City Hall. Continental breakfast and lunch is to be provided. All participants will receive a comprehensive workbook and tools to use on the job.
