Seven women honored at October 19 event
The Century City Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2022 Women of Achievement (WOA) Annual Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
This year’s honorees included Vicki Curry, Fox; Kameelah Hakeem, Sullivan and Cromwell LLP; Yesenia Gallegos, McDermott Will & Emery LLP; Daniela Judah-Ormani, LCSW, Empowering Women in Transition; Leslie Mayer, Cushman and Wakefield; Sandra Lee Montgomery, Proskauer Rose LLP; Niloofar Shepherd, Creative Artists Agency, LLC.
For the past 29 years, the Century City Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council (WBC) has recognized women of outstanding achievement in our business community. Nominees must work or live in Century City or own a business that is located in Century City. A Woman of Achievement (WOA) is a professional who not only excels in her career but who is dedicated to making the community stronger by mentoring other women and being involved in non-profit and community organizations.
This year, with an large number of nominees, the WBC selected seven women to be honored at the annual awards ceremony.
“Each year we are overwhelmed with the support we receive from previous Women of Achievement honorees wanting to give back to their connections and colleagues to be recognized at this annual event,” said Nancy Wood, President & CEO of the Century City Chamber of Commerce. “It is such an honor for the Chamber to celebrate such amazing women that have demonstrated their commitment to making.
