Patient suffers non-life-threatening injuries in Wednesday crash
A man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries this week after a crash on the 10 Freeway in Sawtelle resulted in him being trapped in his vehicle.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the incident was reported on Wednesday around 12:35 p.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway near the Sawtelle neighborhood in the area near Pico Boulevard and Bundy Drive.
LAFD crews around 1 p.m. arrived to find one vehicle on its side, down the embankment with one patient trapped.
“Firefighters stabilized the car with the two-line rope system and safely removed the patient from the vehicle,” the LAFD said in an incident report.
A 33-year-old male patient was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to a local hospital.
No further details have been released by the LAFD.
