An SUV overturned in a single-vehicle crash today, injuring the driver and shutting down a portion of Olympic Boulevard in
Beverly Hills during rush hour, police said.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Crescent Drive at 7:40 a.m. and shut down Olympic in both directions, according to a Beverly Hills police desk officer.
The department had no immediate word on injuries but media reports indicated the driver was hospitalized for treatment of injuries suffered in the crash.
The road closure was expected to remain in effect until at least noon, according to the department.
