The Los Angeles Dodgers will begin their 2015 season by playing host to the San Diego Padres on April 6 at Dodger Stadium, according to the preliminary schedule announced Monday.
The 81-game home schedule includes 10 interleague games, April 13-15 against the Seattle Mariners; June 17-18 against the Texas Rangers; July 28-29 against the Oakland Athletics; and July 31-Aug. 2 against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Following a one-year absence, the Dodgers will again have a home game on Jackie Robinson Day, April 15, commemorating his breaking baseball’s color line in 1947 as a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
The Dodgers will also play home games on Memorial Day (May 25 against Atlanta), Father’s Day (June 21 against San Francisco) and Independence Day (July 4 against the New York Mets).
