The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.825, its lowest amount since Feb. 20.
The average price has decreased 58 times and been unchanged six times in the past 64 days, dropping 35.4 cents, including one-tenth of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is six-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 8.5 cents lower than one month ago and 10.6 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped four-tenths of a cent today to $3.792, one day after rising one-tenth of a cent.
The Orange County average price is at its lowest amount since Feb. 18 and 1 cent less than one week ago, 9.2 cents lower than one month ago and 11.1 cents below what it was one year ago.
