The Pasadena Fire Department reports it was a quiet, cold night on Colorado Boulevard, as temperatures dipped below 40 degrees in the hours before today’s parade.
There was “a relatively-low call volume overnight, because people came prepared for cold weather,” said spokeswoman Lisa Derderian.
The Pasadena Fire Department only responded to 12 medical calls for service along the Rose Parade route overnight, Derderian said.
An unofficial reading at 6 a.m. put the Pasadena temperature at 37 degrees.
