Float trophy winners from 2015 Rose Parade announced

Here are the float trophy winners from the 2015 Rose Parade:

Theme Award for excellence in presenting parade theme, City of Torrance, “Louis Zamperini – A Race Well Run,” Fiesta Parade Floats.

Tournament Volunteers Award for best floral design of parade theme for floats under 35 feet, Odd Fellows and Rebekahs, “Always Remember,” Phoenix Decorating.

Sweepstakes Award for most beautiful entry in parade with outstanding floral presentation and design, Dole Packaged Foods, “Rhythm Of Hawai’i,” Fiesta.

Princesses’ Award for most beautiful float 35 feet and under, Lutheran Laymen’s League, “The Bible … God’s Story,” Phoenix.

Grand Marshall’s Award for excellence in creative concept and design, Singpoli, “A Bright Future,” Paradiso Parade Floats.

International Award for most beautiful entry outside of the 50 United States and D.C., China Airlines Ltd., “Inspiring Grace Of Cloud Gate,” Artistic Entertainment Services.

President’s Award for most effective floral use and presentation, American Armenian Rose Float Association, “Cradle Of Civilization,” Phoenix.

Craftsman Award for exceptional achievement in showmanship and dramatic impact for floats larger than 55 feet, Princess Cruises, “50 Years Of Inspiring Travel,” Phoenix.

National Award for best depiction of life in the U.S.A. past, present or future, Downey Rose Float Association, “Home For The Holidays,” self-built.

Isabella Coleman Award for best presentation of color and color harmony through floral uses, Scotts Miracle-Gro, “Life Starts Here,” Fiesta.

Governor’s Award for best depiction of life in California, City of Los Angeles, “What’s Your L.A. Story?,” Phoenix.

Queens Award for most effective use and display of roses in concept, design and presentation, The Bachelor, “Inspiring Love,” Fiesta.

Extraordinaire Award for most spectacular float (that does not retract to 55 feet), Kiehl’s Since 1851, “Inspiring A Beautiful World,” Fiesta.

Bob Hope Humor Award for most comical and amusing entry, Underground Service Alert Of Southern California, “Do It Right … Call 811,” Fiesta.

Judge’s Special Award for most spectacular in showmanship and dramatic impact, Kaiser Permanente, “Together We Thrive,” Fiesta.

Directors’ Award for outstanding artistic merit in design and floral presentation, Northwestern Mutual NCAA, “Inspiring Potential,” Fiesta.

Fantasy Award for most outstanding display of fantasy and imagination, Western Asset Management Company, “The Power Of Imagination,” Phoenix.

Tournament Special Award for exceptional merit in multiple classifications (including floats that do not retract to 55 feet), Farmers Insurance, “Dream Big: World Of Possibility,” Phoenix.

Mayor’s Award for most outstanding city entry — national or international, Sierra Madre Rose Float Association, “I Think I Can,” self- built.

Animation Award for best animation and motion, Zappos.com, “Serving With A Smile,” Paradiso.

Crown City Innovation Award for best use of imagination and innovation to advance the art of float design, Trader Joe’s, “Bedtime Stories,” Phoenix.

Past Presidents’ Award for most creative design and use of both floral and non-floral materials, Burbank Tournament of Roses Association, “Jungle Rescue,” self-built.

Founders’ Award, most beautiful float built and decorated by volunteers from a community or organization, La Canada Tournament of Roses Association, “To The Rescue,” self-built.

Lathrop K. Leishman Award for most beautiful non-commercial float, Cal Poly Universities, “Soaring Stories,” self-built.
