The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose a half-cent today to $2.739, one day after increasing two-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 1.4 cents more than one week ago and 5.9 cents higher than one month ago but 71.6 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price rose a half-cent today to $2.719, one day after increasing four-tenths of a cent. It is 1.5 cents more than one week ago and 6.3 cents higher than one month ago but 67.2 cents less than one year ago.
