Century City-based ICM Partners has acquired a majority interest in Royce Carlton Inc., an independent speakers agency out of New York.
The move brings together two companies that have shared clients over the years, including Thomas Friedman and Alan Alda. Royce Carlton also exclusively represents speakers Mitch Albom, Fareed Zakaria, Anne-Marie Slaughter and Samantha Power, while ICM’s speaker clients include John Cena, Caroline Kennedy and the Duplass Brothers.
“This is a perfectly timed, strategic move for us that assures our agents and staff, as well as our clients a long-term transition plan, while giving us access to more resources and clients to grow the agency while continuing to provide the best possible service to the people we represent,” Sedgeley and Lepage Sedgeley said in a statement.
