The final part of the concrete decking at the Wilshire/La Cienega Purple Line station site was installed earlier this month. The decking allows traffic to continue to flow on Wilshire and La Cienega while excavation of the station continues below ground.
The Wilshire/La Cienega station is the first part of Section 2 of the Purple Line, which will continue to Century City.
