Part of the 710 Freeway was shut down early the morning of May 31 in response to a fatal collision south of the Pacific Coast Highway. The accident took place around 4:30 in the morning when a number of cars crashed on the Long Beach Freeway and caused closures on the southbound side of the 710. It’s unknown at this time how many cars were affected and how many fatalities occurred.
