MeUndies Century City pledges to donate 53,000 pairs of underwear to homeless individuals.

Sunday, August 5th was National Underwear Day and while this day of undergarment celebration is officially over, there is still time to make the most out of this holiday.
Through August 19, the MeUndies store in Westfield Century City is running a “Buy a Pair, Give a Pair” campaign benefiting individuals experiencing homelessness.
“Stop on by, grab some Undies and give back to a good cause,” MeUndies wrote in a blog post. “Underwear is one of the most needed but least donated items for the homeless…When we heard that there are currently 53,000 homeless men and women in our city, we knew we had to do something.”
MeUndies has partnered up with Shelter Partnership, a local non-profit dedicated to ending homelessness in Los Angeles County. MeUndies is donating at least 53,000 pairs of underwear to signify the number of homeless individuals in the community.
In addition, MeUndies has teamed up with Shelter Partnership’s resource bank to deliver underwear to individuals in-person.
“Our community stretches far beyond the MeUndies fam. No one should be without basic clothing. Let’s work together to enact some real, positive change to those who need it most,” MeUndies wrote.
