LAFD makes quick work of fire Wednesday morning

An early 20th-century home in West Los Angeles caught fire Wednesday.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the fire was reported around 9:40 a.m. February 10 at 2206 S Greenfield Avenue, in the area near the former Westside Pavillion and The Apple Pan.
The Department says its crews made quick work of the blaze.
“33 Firefighters took just 24 minutes in an offensive fire attack, successfully confining and extinguishing flames within the attic of a vacant 1,634 square-foot 1-story home (built 1927), apparently undergoing renovation,” the LAFD said.
The were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
