Anthony Davis Buys $32M Bel Air Pad Complete With Basketball Courts

Home originally purchased for $16 million in 2016.

By Toi Creel

Basketball star Anthony Davis is now calling Bel Air home.

Lake’s star Anthony Davis recently purchased a Bel-Air mansion complete with a full-sized basketball court and pool, according to The Real Deal. Sources from the outlet say the basketball player allegedly paid $32 million for the 16,700 square feet home. Just a month before he’d sold a 16,000-square-foot Westlake Village mansion for $6.6 million, losing nearly an extra million off his purchase made in 2018. Davis reportedly purchased the mansion via a Trust he’d previously used to buy the Westlake Village home. His mother, Erainer Eberhardt Davis was listed as a trustee.

The mansion is located at 2100 Stratford Circle in Bel Air Crest, a sought-after Bel Air gated community. It’s described as “villa-style” in a listing, complete with eight bedrooms and eight full bathrooms on 3.5 acres. In addition to the 120-foot pool and basketball court, the home also has a 35-foot-high glass dome along with a tennis court.

Just late last year Davis signed a five-year, $190 million contract with the Lakers. Similar to its new owner, the previous tenant to the residence had no shortage of cash. Entrepreneur and real estate developer Ted Foxman originally purchased the home in 2016 for $16 million but made renovations, making double his purchase following the sale.

Davis isn’t the only Laker’s team member to make million dollar moves in real estate. Teammate and basketball great LeBron James recently paid $36.75 million for a Beverly Hills mansion in the fall, after listing his Brentwood home for $20.5 million
