LAPD investigating August 15 incident

Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) West Traffic Division Detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect involved in a hit and run collision on Mulholland Drive.
According to the LAPD, on Sunday, August 15, 2021, around 9:05 p.m., a vehicle was traveling eastbound Mulholland Drive near Outpost Drive, when it veered in a southeast direction, ran off road, and collided with multiple pedestrians standing along the south curb. The driver of the vehicle left the scene without identifying themselves and providing medical attention, as required by law. or information. One of the pedestrians sustained severe injuries as a result of the collision, according to police.
The LAPD describe the hit and run as a 2016-2018 Honda Civic, four-door, painted black or dark gray. There is no description of the suspect.
A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members who provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
