The Los Angeles Fire Department rescued a five-year-old boy who fell down a Beverly Crest hillside recently.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAPD), the incident was reported on April 8 at 3:32 p.m. at 1605 Gilcrest Drive.
“Mother states she saw her 5 year-old son fall out of sight down a steep…hillside behind a home she was visiting,” reads an LAFD incident report.
LAFD ground crews hiked the steep hillside to successfully search for and find the 5 year-old male.
The LAFD did not disclose any other further information about the status of the victim other than that he was conscious with unspecified injuries or medical condition. He was later loaded into an LAFD ground ambulance, and accompanied by his mother for transport to a regional trauma center.
