Wanderlust Creamery is now finally scooping ice cream in the Sawtelle district as reported by The Los Angeles Times.
The shop opened on April 8 and the chain now has four locations in total, one each in Pasadena, Tarzana and Venice.
Wanderlust Creamery is known for its distinctive and non-traditional ice cream flavors that have a global flavor profile. You can find Ube Malted Crunch, Japanese Neapolitan and Abuelita Malted Crunch in their signature flavor menu, and some of the seasonally available flavors for April are Burnt Honey Hojicha, Yuzu Creamsicle and Sunflower Kievsky. There is one special seasonal flavor that is inspired by the new location called Sawtelle Milk + Brownies which is, according to the menu, “Immensely milky ice cream made with imported Hokkaido milk, studded with housemade chewy matcha brownies throughout.”
Wanderlust Creamery Sawtelle is located at 2105 Sawtelle Blvd. and is open daily from noon to 11:00 p.m.
