Suspects In North Hollywood Car Theft Found On The Westside

Beverly Hills Police Department officers were alerted on Thursday, August 25 around 9:30 p.m. by the North Hollywood Division of the Los Angeles Police Department about a car theft in their area according to Sgt. Kevin Orth as reported by City News Service.
Officers on patrol spotted the stolen car and while trying to get the suspects to pull the car over the police had to chase the car in a short-lived pursuit. The pursuit did not last long because the suspects crashed the car near Santa Monica Boulevard and Ensley around 10:30 p.m. the same night. The police detained and arrested the suspects near the Los Angeles Country Club near the border of Beverly Hills and Century City.
There was no report of injuries to the suspects or police officers during the crash as reported by Patch.com.
