Drake is selling his lavish mountain estate above Beverly Hills just one year after purchasing it as reported by The Dirt.com The resort-style property is currently on the market for $88 million. The nearly 25,000-square-foot mansion was built over several years in the late 1990s by the KAA Design Group for Armand Marciano, co-founder of GUESS.
The Tuscan-style house originally had Old World-inspired interiors but was renovated to contemporary style by Robbie Williams, who sold the property to Drake last spring for $75 million. The property includes a long driveway, gates, and a vast motor court with ample parking, a wine cellar in the basement, a double-height foyer, and a living room with two fireplaces.
The interiors have been redecorated, the design is a minimalist style with a neutral color palette. The property boasts stunning canyon, city, and ocean views and has one of the largest lawn areas in the 90210 zip code, as well as a full-size tennis court, an outdoor kitchen, and a hidden orchard.
The compound spans nearly 20 acres, with mature olive trees and ancient oaks framing the views. The property includes an 11-car garage, a wine cellar, a gym, an elevator, a kitchen with dual islands, a staff wing, and a separate guesthouse. Branden and Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates and Marc Bretter of Maywood Property Group are working together to sell the estate.
