The Exclusive Property Was Purchased At An Outrageous Discount

After two long years and a lot of also-rans, the megastar couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have finally committed and bought a mansion in Beverly Crest for $60,850 million, as reported by TMZ. Their report said that the couple paid for the estate in cash.
According to KTLA.com, even though $60 million dollars might seem like it’s very expensive, and it is, they got the home for what is an incredible bargain, considering that it was first listed for sale in 2018 for $135 million and, after there were no takers, it was again listed for sale this year for $75 million. Affleck and Lopez seem to have been able to get an additional discount of $14.15 million off of the 2023 price.
The home’s description on the Coldwell Banker website reads, “One of the most private and secured estates in Beverly Hills 90210. Overlooking magnificent mountain views, the newly rebuilt and expanded Wallingford estate is spread over a five-acre exclusive promontory. A one-of-a-kind indoor sports complex with basketball, pickleball, gym, boxing ring, sports lounge, and bar all celebrate an active lifestyle and the love of sports. Located just 8 minutes from the Beverly Hill Hotel and 20 minutes from Van Nuys private airport, both entrances can only be accessed through private/gated streets.”
“Exquisitely designed and built with impeccable taste, the sophisticated and stylish estate infuses today’s technology with refined rooms. Totalling approximately 4,600 square feet under the roof and approx. 38,000 square feet under A/C and approximately twelve bedrooms and twenty-four baths. A 5,000 square foot guest penthouse, caretaker house, two bedroom guardhouse, twelve car garage, and parking for 80. Stunning zero edge pool perfectly frames the extensive grounds and views.”
The home has two stories and is built in the contemporary style; and is located on Wallingford Drive in a gated community close to Benedict Canyon.
