We Roll NORI, a Fresh Casual Eatery That Might Be a Little Hard to Find

WeRoll Nori, a new casual Japanese eatery that serves onigiri (rice balls) and hand rolls, has opened in Westwood Village. While onigiri and hand rolls are the focus, the menu promises that sushi and sashimi will be added to the menu at a later date.
The meals are freshly handmade, with diners able to select from among several different types of rolls and their fillings before enjoying their meal. The menu highlights include crab, salmon, tuna and eel onigiri, spam musubi, fruit-infused water on the house, miso soup, and crispy salad sides.
“The standout feature undoubtedly lies in the exceptional service provided, enhancing the overall visit.” said one Yelp Reviewer, who also gave plaudits for the restaurant’s affordability.
“The ambiance of the spot is lovely, and the staff was very welcoming and helpful.” said another, while acknowledging that the place’s lack of signage might result in customers missing out on the experience.
The restaurant is located at 10912 Le Conte Avenue and is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., taking orders in person and online. Complimentary two-hour is available on Broxton and Weyburn. Their Instagram page tells the customer, “Eat Fish, Eat Right, Be Bright!”
