In a harrowing incident in Los Angeles’ Pico-Robertson neighborhood, a nanny and an infant she was caring for sought refuge in a bathroom, fearing for their lives, after three masked individuals scaled their employer’s fence and attempted to gain access to the residence.
The chilling episode unfolded on August 24 when the baby’s mother had left the house to collect her other child from school, leaving her infant in the nanny’s care.
As soon as the mother departed, the intruders scaled the property’s fence and entered the family’s backyard. The nanny was inside the residence when the intrusion transpired. Upon realizing the perilous situation, she swiftly grabbed the baby and sought refuge in the bathroom.
Terrified, the nanny began to text the mother seeking help. Fortunately, the suspects failed to were not able to force entry into the house, and no physical harm befell anyone involved.
However, the family remains deeply frightened by the traumatic event. “The whole experience was very scary,” the mother shared with FOX 11, requesting that her identity not be disclosed. Authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the break-in incident.
