Officers Found the Victim Unresponsive; No Suspect Description Released.
THe LAPD is investigating the fatal stabbing of a man discovered Wednesday afternoon in Hancock Park, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers responded around 3:49 p.m. to the 100 block of North Rossmore Avenue after a 911 caller reported seeing a man lying on the ground, LAPD spokesperson Rosario Cervantes said.
Upon arrival, police found the victim suffering from at least one stab wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. The man, described as white and believed to be between 60 and 70 years old, has not yet been publicly identified.
No suspect description or motive has been released, and the case remains under investigation by detectives from the LAPD’s West Bureau Homicide Unit.
