Beverly Hills Police and Fire Departments Invite Public to Family-Friendly Night Out
The City of Beverly Hills will transform the 400 block of North Rexford Drive into a community celebration on Tuesday, August 5, as part of National Night Out, an annual event designed to foster stronger relationships between residents and public safety personnel.
Running from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the event will take place in front of the Beverly Hills Public Library and Fire Department and will feature live entertainment, interactive displays, and family-friendly activities. Free parking will be available at the Rexford/Civic Center public parking structure at 450 N. Rexford Drive.
Hosted by the Beverly Hills Police Department in partnership with the Beverly Hills Fire Department and other city departments, this year’s event aims to promote neighborhood camaraderie and encourage positive engagement with law enforcement and emergency services.
Activities will include:
- Live music by DJ Keybo
- Food trucks and refreshments
- SWAT and BearCat vehicle displays
- Police force simulator experience
- Kids’ playhouse, slides, face painting, and balloon art
- Interactive demonstrations and kid-friendly games
- Meet-and-greets with K9 officers, 911 dispatchers, and Support K-9 Nami
Participating agencies and organizations will include:
- Beverly Hills Police Department units: SWAT, Motor, K9 Unit, Mobile Command Center, RTWC Drone Unit, Recruitment Team, and 911 Dispatch
- Beverly Hills Fire Department and Fire Department Foundation
- Beverly Hills CPR, CERT, Emergency Management, JUST IN CASE BH
- Drug Awareness Foundation
- Beverly Hills Police Benevolent Fund
National Night Out is part of a nationwide effort to strengthen ties between police and the communities they serve, while promoting safety, awareness, and mutual trust.
City officials encourage all residents to attend the free event and enjoy an evening of entertainment, education, and civic engagement.
