46th Edition Promises Robust Dealmaking, Screenings, and Industry Networking
The American Film Market will stage its 46th edition Nov. 11–16, 2025, at the Fairmont Century Plaza, drawing strong early participation from film and television companies worldwide, organizers announced Monday.
With more than three months until opening day, exhibition space is already largely sold out, and production, sales, and distribution companies from over 60 countries have registered. Organizers say the momentum underscores renewed confidence in the independent film and television sectors and reaffirms AFM’s role as a global hub for dealmaking, networking, screenings, and market insights.
Confirmed exhibitors include Lionsgate, NEON, STUDIOCANAL, Voltage Pictures, Beta Cinema, The Match Factory, Protagonist Pictures, HanWay Films, Pathé Films, XYZ Films, AGC Studios, and WME Independent, among others. National umbrella stands will also host delegations from China, France, Germany, Italy, and Thailand, organized by each country’s respective film promotion agencies.
Film screenings will take place nearby at the AMC Century City 15, offering theatrical presentations for buyers and industry professionals. The Market will again be complemented by LocationEXPO, which is expanding this year to meet rising demand from film commissions, production service providers, and attendees seeking location incentives and support.
The AFM Sessions, a four-day conference program, will also return, featuring leading voices from across the global industry discussing trends, emerging technologies, and strategies from development to distribution. Speaker announcements and session details are expected in the coming weeks.
