YOGA in Sanskrit means Union….
On Saturday May 22, 2010 at 7:30 pm at the YogaWorks Main Street studio, the community has the opportunity to unite in order to support the Vista Inspire Program, a local life affirming and enriching program created for children with autism, those with other special needs, and their families who too often are separated from their communities based on lack of understanding, services, resources, and the added burden of excessive financial stresses.
Beloved YogaWorks instructor, Mia Togo will guide an all-level yoga class featuring eclectic music. Special guests include Vista Inspire Program students, who will sing, One People, One Planet, One Song, followed by a light vegetarian meal comprised of seasonal fare, generously sponsored by Native Foods Café and world class chef, Tanya Petrovna.
YogaWorks, a devoted neighbor and core value based brand, will sponsor a raffle and trunk show, featuring exceptional healthy lifestyle products including organic skincare line, bodykor, Terri Michele Fragrances, California Bento Box, Anthony Morrison’s: Londoner Salon and Spa, and Shanti Generation for Youth Peacemakers.
The first 80 patrons to this fundraising event will be gifted with TrainerMats, designed to complement an in studio yoga practice.
Impact: Invite friends, family, and local businesses to experience the joy of contribution by sponsoring your event night yoga practice. Together you can make a tangible difference in the lives of families living with autism, and to the community as a whole.
