At the 2008 Crystal Ball on October 15, philanthropist, humanitarian, journalist, actress and model, Lily Collins received the Crystal Award for Teen Spirit from The Maple Counseling Center (a private nonprofit community mental health center). In 2007, Lily celebrated her 18th birthday by generously underwriting a portion of the Moreno High School program for troubled teens, and later became the first college representative to sit on the board of The Maple Counseling Center, where she is an advocate of the “teens helping teens†program through peer support groups. Lily is a student at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communications where she is studying journalism.
