A fire damaged a home in Hollywood today and briefly threatened a next-door apartment building.
The blaze at 1937 North Vista del Mar Avenue was reported at 3:39 p.m. and put out in 21 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Dept.’s Brian Humphrey. Most of the damage was to the front of the home, he said.
No injuries were reported.
The 53 firefighters assigned to the blaze prevented the fire from spreading to an apartment building next door, he said.
How the fire started was not immediately known.
