The Los Angeles Police Department announced today it is making a mobile application available for use in its cadet leadership program.
The program is the department’s “signature” effort for community youth, which helps students develop academic excellence, leadership and enhancing their ability to live productive lives.
The app is available as a free download for both iPhone and Android uses by going to http://lapdcadetapp.com.
The app was developed in collaboration with Officer Tony Newsom, who works in the LAPD’s Pacific Division.
