Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will perform the Oscar- nominated original song “Lost Stars” during the Academy Awards ceremony, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today.
“Lost Stars” was written by Gregg Alexander and Danielle Brisebois for the film “Begin Again,” in which Levine made his feature film acting debut.
The other original song nominees are “Everything is Awesome” from “The Lego Movie,” “Glory” from “Selma,” “Grateful” from “Beyond the Lights” and “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” from “Glen Campbell … I’ll Be Me.”
The Oscars will be presented Feb. 22 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
