Affaire In The Gardens Returns to Beverly Gardens October 15 and 16

Ya Ya Chou Beluga's Journey250 vetted artists from across the nation showcasing an array of paintings, sculptures, photographs, jewelry, ceramics and traditional prints will participate in the show. An ideal event for early holiday shoppers, as well as art lovers, the Affaire In The Gardens offers visitors a wide assortment of upscale, yet affordable one-of-a-kind art items.

Spanning four blocks, this free public art fair will also feature entertaining and family-friendly programming including special exhibits, art tours, in-booth artist demonstrations, live entertainment, food trucks, and for the adults, wine and fine beer gardens.

The Affaire In The Gardens will continue its series of special exhibits curated by the Los Angeles Art Association. The Los Angeles Art Association will also feature artist J.T. Burke and sculptor R. Matt at the LosJT Burke - Big Opening Number Angeles Art Association booth. Additional special exhibits highlighting select artists will be curated by City of Beverly Hills Art Show Coordinator, Karen McLean.

Art tours will take place throughout the show. A Public Art Collection Tour, featuring permanent works by internationally celebrated contemporary artists, will be led by a representative from the Fine Art Commission of Beverly Hills. In addition, an Artist’s Highlight Tour of select Affaire In The Gardens artists will also take place. Tours are free, and visitors can sign up to participate at the Information Booth between Beverly and Canon Drive just north of Santa Monica Boulevard, in Beverly Gardens Park.

Of the 250 artists exhibiting at the Affaire In The Gardens, a select few will be honored with awards. A panel of leading arts professionals will Beverly Hills Art Show - Affaire In The Gardensjudge artists based on category (Painting, Sculpture, Mixed-Media, Photography, and Prints), and also award one artist the ‘Best in Show’ award. Official Automobile Sponsor, Lincoln will also present the Lincoln Artist Innovation Award that will recognize an artist for using innovative materials and design. The Affaire In The Gardens award ceremony will take place on Sunday, Oct 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Beverly Gardens Park, under the Beverly Hills sign, between Beverly and Canon Drive.

The Affaire In The Gardens is produced by the City of Beverly Hills. Event Sponsors include Lincoln, the Beverly Hills Courier, KPCC-Southern California Public Radio, Mark Wollman of Beverly Hills Hilton and Hyland Real Estate. Event partners include the Los Angeles Art Association and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. The event’s charitable partner is Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles which will feature paintings by its patients for sale at its booth. Proceeds from these sales will benefit the hosptial.

General Show hours on October 15 and 16 are 10:00am – 5:00pm and admission is free. The Art Show is located at Beverly Garden located along Santa Monica Blvd, from Rodeo Drive to Rexford Drive. Inexpensive parking is available in many City parking structures located just south of Santa Monica Boulevard.
