Breaking: There were 92 crashes on Los Angeles County freeways during the rainstorm this morning, compared with eight crashes during the same period a week ago, when it did not rain, authorities said.
The crash figures reflect the time period between midnight and 5 am each day, said California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi.
