Fans Can Experience Holiday-Themed Skating Show and Costume Exhibits
Amazon MGM Studios is bringing a frosty dose of satire to Los Angeles this weekend with “Vought on Ice,” a fan experience inspired by the fictional holiday propaganda show featured in Season 4 of The Boys.
The free, two-day pop-up will run June 7 and 8 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Atrium in Westfield Century City Mall. Anchoring the event is a live, three-minute ice performance featuring costumed skaters portraying characters from the series, most notably Homelander and a campy version of Jesus Christ, as they reenact the over-the-top musical number “Put the Christ Back in Christmas.” With elaborate choreography and synchronized lip-syncing, the piece delivers a scathing send-up of corporate holiday spectacle and performative patriotism.
Between shows, guests are invited to hit the ice themselves during 40-minute public skating sessions, held hourly throughout both days. Pre-registration is recommended, though a limited number of walk-up spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each reservation comes with a 15-minute grace period before being released to guests on the waitlist.
In addition to skating and performances, fans will have the chance to view screen-worn costumes from the Season 4 episode “We’ll Keep the Red Flag Flying Here,” offering a rare close-up look at the show’s meticulous design work and its darkly comic take on American consumer culture.
The event also includes refreshments from “Jitter Bean,” the show’s fictional coffee chain, rounding out an immersive experience that blurs the line between reality and the satirical world of Vought International.
