
Angelenos Against Gridlock will host on on-stage discussion called “Fireside Chat” on transportation issues with LA Councilmember Mike Bonin this Friday, April 11 at 7:30 pm. It will be preceded by a 6:45 pm reception.
It will be held at the Moss Theater at New Roads School at 3131 Olympic Boulevard, Santa Monica.
Limited free parking on-site and additional street parking one block north of Olympic. Nearest cross street: Centinela.
Biking/transit encouraged (served by Big Blue Bus #5’s Centinela stop).
Once on site, look for The Moss Theater inside the Capshaw-Spielberg Center / Herb Alpert Educational Village building that sits directly on Olympic.
The Fireside Chat will be moderated by Angelenos Against Gridlock’s President, David C. Murphy. A public Q&A to follow.
Topics will include speeding up mobility and the pace of progress in L.A., public transportation, the 405 Freeway – and rail through the Sepulveda Pass, bike share, bike safety & bike amenities, Westside gridlock, transit- oriented development, rail to LAX, the Expo Line, Subway to the Sea — and a broader vision for world class transportation options for Los Angeles.
