A group of anti-maskers protested at the Westfield Century City mall over the weekend, harassing employees and customers.
As seen in videos posted on social media, on Sunday a group anti-maskers did mask-less shopping at Westfield Century City and a nearby Ralphs supermarket. The group walked though the mall and grocery store arguing with costumers and employees.
After arriving at the mall, the group went inside the Bloomingdale’s chanting “no more masks.” In addition, the protestors tried to push open the doors of a Steve Madden store that closed in response to the group.

In another video, a protestor told a shopper at Ralph’s that he did not need a mask because he tested negative, calling the shopper a “mask Nazi.”
As reported by KTLA and seen on video, at one point an unmasked woman attempted to ram her shopping cart into a masked man, saying that he hit her, and was also seen kicking the man at the checkout line.

According to the LAPD, police were present at the protest to keep the peace and maintain First Amendment rights and also confirmed that individuals entered each location without masks. No charges were pressed but two battery reports were taken.
