Entertainer Terry Fator will be amongst the recipients of the Arthritis Foundation’s Jane Wyman Humanitarian Award at its “Commitment to a Cure†Gala on Monday, November 1st at 5:30pm at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, 9500 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills.
Fator’s claim to Arthritis Humanitarian fame stems from his efforts to get his sister who has suffered from rheumatoid arthritis since a teenager her medication by using part of his winnings from America’s Got Talent to pay for it.
Jane Wyman Humanitarian Award, for outstanding leadership, commitment and dedication to humanitarian causes, will be presented to:
· Entertainer Terry Fator
· Debi Fator, Terry’s sister, diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis as a teenager
· Dr. Gary Firestein, renowned Rheumatology researcher and Professor Medicine, University of California, San Diego
Program: Emcee Matt Iseman, comedian and celebrity host for the Style Network. The evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner, live auction, and awards presentation.
