Bel Air’s Somma Estate Returns to the Market With a $59 Million Price Tag

Built in 2020, the more than 41,000-square-foot estate is among the largest “amenity-driven, ultra-luxury property on the market”

The Somma Estate, a colossal megamansion in Bel Air, has returned to the market with a $59 million price tag after receiving a hefty price cut.

Built in 2020, the more than 41,000-square-foot estate is among the largest “amenity-driven, ultra-luxury property on the market,” according to Shawn Elliott of Nest Seekers.

The mansion features eight bedrooms and 21 bathrooms, as well as an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, salon and fitness studio. It also boasts six bars, a recording studio and a full indoor NBA-approved basketball court.

Outside, the lush grounds have multi-level terraces, an infinity edge pool and spa, a kitchen and outdoor TV. Newly landscaped and redesigned after acquiring some of the property next door for added “wow factor,” said Mr. Elliott.

Despite its previous $100 million price tag before it was completed in 2020 and subsequent listing at $78 million in 2021, Mr. Elliott believes that at its current price point it is priced to sell as competing parties may even end up pushing the final sale price beyond that ask.

The home is being sold by its developer Westside Property Group.
