Beverly Hills Mansion From Hot Hospitality Developer Hits Market at $45.95M

Luxury Spec Mansion in Beverly Hills Revels in Resort-Style Living

By Dolores Quintana

A newly completed spec mansion in Beverly Hills, California, with ties to renowned developer Richard Heyman, made its debut on the market with an asking price of $45.95 million as reported by Mansion Global. This sprawling 19,000-square-foot estate, finalized earlier this year, was originally intended to be Heyman’s personal residence. As founder of Heyman Development, recognized for his work on popular hospitality ventures like Tao and Thompson Hotel (originating from New York) and the Italian restaurant Mother Wolf, which opened in late 2021 in Los Angeles, brought his expertise to the realm of luxury estate design.

PropertyShark’s records indicate that Heyman acquired the land for $6.5 million in 2015. His approach to this residence reflects his hospitality background, aiming to create a residential environment akin to a luxury resort.

“In hospitality and hotels, you choose your accommodation based on the lifestyle you want to experience for a weekend or week,” Heyman commented in a statement. “For residential living, I aimed to craft a home that emulates a resort-like atmosphere, offering amenities that transport you to a vacation at a high-end hotel.”

Among the distinctive features of this mansion are a conversation pit within the home theater to foster social connections, a club lounge equipped with top-tier sound and a professional bar, and a wellness center encompassing a spa and gym. The seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom mansion provides quintessential Los Angeles luxuries, including sweeping valley and mountain views, expansive retractable windows for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience, and a second-level wraparound deck with stairs leading to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and dining area.

Additional highlights comprise two primary bedroom suites, a self-contained two-bedroom, two-bathroom guest apartment, a glass elevator, and a generous 3,000-square-foot finished garage. The property is listed with Valerie Fitzgerald, a Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialist affiliated with the Beverly Hills office of Coldwell Banker Realty, as well as Branden and Rayni Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates.
