Big 5 Sporting Goods to Open New Los Angeles Store in Century City on La Cienega

Grand Opening Sale With Daily Giveaways and Promotions Starts August 13

Big 5 Sporting Goods, a major sporting goods retailer in the Western U.S., opened a new store in Century City on August 8. The 11,703-square-foot store, located at 1835 S. La Cienega Blvd., will replace the Wilshire at San Vicente location, which is scheduled to close later in August.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Heather Hutt attended the ribbon cutting this afternoon. 

The new store will operate Monday through Thursday from 1:000 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Grand Opening Sale will begin on August 13 and feature giveaways for the first 50 customers each day from August 15 to August 17, along with an enter-to-win promotion throughout the sale.
