Due to the Run for Hope 5K and 10K event this weekend, Route 4 of Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus will be on detour Sunday, April 27 from 6:00 a.m. until approximately 11:00 a.m., it was announced.
Towards Santa Monica
Regular route to Sawtelle Boulevard at Olympic Boulevard, then buses will detour and turn right on Olympic Boulevard, left on Sepulveda Boulevard, left on Ohio Avenue, right on Bonsall Avenue/Sawtelle Boulevard, and resume regular route.
The following stops will be missed:
- Sawtelle Boulevard at La Grange Avenue, Nebraska Avenue, and Santa Monica Boulevard; instead use temporary stop on Sepulveda Boulevard at La Grange Avenue.
Towards Westside Pavillion
Regular route to Sepulveda Boulevard at Ohio Avenue, then buses will detour and continue on Sepulveda Boulevard, turn left on Olympic Boulevard, and resume regular route.
The following stops will be missed:
- Sawtelle Boulevard at Ohio Avenue, Santa Monica Boulevard, Nebraska Avenue, and La Grange Avenue; instead use temporary stops on Ohio Avenue at Sawtelle Boulevard or Sepulveda Blvd at La Grange Avenue;
- Olympic Boulevard at Sawtelle Boulevard and Sepulveda Boulevard; instead use alternative stop on Olympic Boulevard at Camden Avenue.
