Small blaze handled by LAFD this week

LAFD crews put out a brush fire that broke out in the Westwood-area this week, protecting nearby schools, a church, and homes.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the incident was reported on Tuesday around 1:52 p.m north of Mulholland Drive, east of Bel Air Church.
“Twenty-four LAFD firefighters held the fire burning in heavy brush to one-quarter acre in 25 minutes, protecting nearby schools, a church, and homes,” wrote LAFD spokesperson Nicholas Prange in an incident report.
There were no structures damaged, and no reported injuries.
The cause is under investigation.
