Mary Gu Shuhang has been appointed chief executive of Creative Artists Agency (CAA) China. The Beijing-based media company was created earlier this year between Century City’s Creative Artists Agency and CMC Capital Partners, according to the Los Angeles Business Journal.
Shanghai-based CMC is an investment fund and Gu was formerly the regional president and managing director, East Asia, for Special Olympics International.
CAA said in a statement that she will be responsible for growing the agency’s efforts in sports and entertainment in the Chinese market.
