Canadian women’s retailer Aritzia was once solely available online for Angelenos. This will change in November when the popular contemporary shop opens its flagship Los Angeles store at the redux Westfield Century City mall.
Though details are still trickling in, reports indicate that the L.A. brick-and-mortar will likely mirror Aritzia’s boutique concept in the Flatiron District and Montreal, modeled after a young woman’s loft.
Though Westfield Century City is experiencing growing pains at the moment, news of the hip storefront should breathe some life into the fledgling shopping center.
Opening in phases beginning in late 2016, the $800 million redeveloped Westfield Century City will encompass 1.2 million square feet of retail space, double the available parking to more than 4,700 spaces, and create new world-class anchors: a new three-level Nordstrom, completely remodeled three-level Bloomingdale’s, new two-level Macy’s, and the West Coast’s first Eataly.
