The Century City Chamber of Commerce is set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its Women of Achievement (WOA) Awards on October 16 at the Beverly Hills Women’s Club, honoring a quarter-century of influential women leaders in business and community service.
This year’s milestone will reflect on past honorees while seeking new contributors, with the Chamber actively soliciting nominations until August 31 through its website.
The event, announced Monday, will feature keynote speaker Vanessa Fukunaga, CEO of Engel & Völkers Snell Real Estate and publisher of Ocean Blue Magazine, recognized for her work in real estate and media.
Since 1998, the awards have recognized over 150 women for their leadership and innovation in the Century City area. Categories include Legacy, Emerging Leader, Leadership, Community, and Collaborator, focusing on long-term impact, early-career achievements, and community service.
Nancy Wood, CEO of the Chamber, emphasized the event’s role in showcasing the resilience and vision of local women. Fukunaga, a multi-award-winning figure, will address attendees, bringing her experience as a business leader and advocate for women.
The Chamber, founded in 1969, supports business growth and community strength, with its Women’s Business Council fostering professional networks. The public is urged to submit nominations online to help select the 2025 honorees.
