The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has reported a rockslide in the mountains north of Malibu.
According to the CHP, rocks have fallen on to Piuma Road near Saddle Peak at about 9:15 a.m. on May 11.
Initial reports indicated a large boulder had fallen on to Piuma Road. The CHP stated there were reports of vehicles swerving out of the way to avoid striking the boulder.
However, minutes later it was reported there were no large boulders on Piuma Road but instead several small rocks and debris.
Just before 10 a.m., the CHP called for a sweeper to the area.
The CHP has not reported of road closures or traffic delays.
Another rockslide occurred in the Malibu area nearly two weeks ago.
On April 29, the CHP reported a rockslide at Kanan Dume Road near Tunnel 3.
