Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is scheduled to conduct a Los Angeles-area fundraiser Aug. 6 as part of her campaign for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.
The ticket price for the fundraiser at the home of music industry talent manager Scooter Braun and his wife Yael is $2,700, the maximum individual contribution for a candidate seeking his or her party’s nomination under federal law.
The fundraiser is part of a three-state, three-day western swing for Clinton, which will also consist of events in Colorado, Oregon and Northern California, according to information posted on the website PoliticalPartyTime.org, which tracks political fundraisers.
The trip to Southern California will be the third for the 67-year-old Clinton since she declared her candidacy on April 12. She conducted three fundraisers on Los Angeles’ Westside on May 7 and four fundraisers June 18-19, one in Newport Beach and three on the Westside in her quest to become the nation’s first female president.
